Kinky Roots has been a wonderful voyage of discovery. It was not a planned venture. The first Kinky Root I literally tripped over while on a family holiday and thinking about what present to get my sister for a big birthday. As I regained my balance, I thought, ‘that’s it!’ I will create a coffee table from this old root. That was the genesis of the idea.

It made a wonderful coffee table, with a circular hole in the glass top to show off the natural beauty of the root.  My sister was ‘delighted’.  And I thought that was it….. Until people started asking where it came from and could they have one too!
